Pictures of Followers of Jesus from many Cultures
In the last book of the Bible, it says that in heaven there will be people from every language group. Here is what it says in Revelation, chapter 7, verse 9: "After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: 'Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'"
We are not proposing importing a foreign plan. There are already followers of Jesus in every country. In fact, they already are in most of the different language groups. We are not proposing some new plan on this website. We are just acknowledging what God has been doing since Jesus sent his followers out on a mission two thousand years ago. Jesus' last words to his followers are in Matthew, chapter 28, verse 16: "Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'" In this verse, the word "nations" comes from the Greek word ethnos which means people groups.
In just a short search on the Internet, we were able to find the below photographs for two followers of Jesus in these different language groups. We put pictures of two people because the above Bible verse says "go and make disciples." The word "disciples" is plural. If we want to obey this Bible command of Jesus, we will need to see disciples in all languages.
The population of the language groups pictured below equals 32% of the earth's population. We guess that at least 75% of the population of earth are in people groups where there are at least two born-again followers of Jesus. Can't we trust these evangelists to their own cultures to grow the church? (Personally. in my work, when I see that a culture already has two evangelists, I move on to another people group where there are no Christians.)

Below are photographs of evangelists working within their own people group. (These are taken from public websites. We just searched for a few groups as an example.)
